We have already mentioned it on other occasions, and the fact is that when we talk about Almazaras de la Subbética we are talking about the good work in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Indeed, its Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Rincón de la Subbética, has become the Best Organic Olive Oil in the World in 2020.
Its mill, as its name indicates, is located in the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, between Jaén, Córdoba and Granada.
They do not have a very large area, about 30,000 hectares, spread over an irregular terrain and characterized by a climate with quite a lot of changes. But that has not reduced the respect for the oil mill, the farmer and the environment from its beginnings, using techniques that protect the diversity of the plantation.
It has a range of exquisite oils, fruit of the different varieties grown, such as Picuda, Hojiblanca and Picual. These oils have the D.O. Priego de Córdoba.
And today, we will talk about their Oils Parqueoliva and Parqueoliva Serie Oro.
Parqueoliva is part of the origin of this oil mill and its history. It is one of the brands that has contributed to the company’s worldwide recognition. We are talking about a harmonious coupage extra virgin Olive Oil, in terms of aromas and flavors, full of personality. Ideal for raw use, in carpaccios, pasta and fish.
Parqueoliva Serie Oro is a real treasure. It is made from the best olives of the Picuda and Hojiblanca varieties, selected at the beginning of the season to produce one of the best Olive Oils in the world.
